  13. SUMMARY
  14.  
  15. ClipHistory is a utility to store multiple items on the Windows clipboard. As
  16. you copy items to the clipboard, ClipHistory makes a copy of the item and
  17. places it in a list. You can later retrieve these items from the list. The
  18. list is accessible from a paper clip icon in the system tray. This program
  19. also serves to replace the Windows Clipboard Viewer because you can preview
  20. the items that are on the list.

  22. VERSION CHANGES

  24. 1. The items can now be sorted.
  25. 2. The list and viewer can be arranged vertically or horizontally.
  26. 3. Multiple text items can be combined into one item.
  27. 4. Items can be renamed.
  28. 5. Word wrap is now available in the viewer.
  29. 6. For most applications, data will only be captured once.
  30. 7. A capture delay was added to make ClipHistory compatible with more 
  31. applications.
  32. 8. The number of items captured can now be limited.
  33. 9. The number of days items are kept can be specified.

  35. REQUIREMENTS

  37. Requires Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0.

  39. INSTALLATION
  40.  
  41. 1. Extract the archive using a decompression utility (PKZIP, WinZip, or
  42.    NetZIP) into a temporary folder.
  43. 2. Run SETUP.EXE.
  44. 3. Delete the files from the temporary folder. (This step is not necessary if
  45.    you used WinZip or NetZIP.)

  47. REGISTRATION
  48.  
  49. You are entitled to a 30-day trial period. If you use ClipHistory beyond this
  50. trial period, you must register. If you don't register and continue using it
  51. after this period, discontinue use and remove it from your computer.

  53. The registration fee is $14.95 (US dollars). If you do not have access to US
  54. funds, please contact me at support@partridgesoft.com and we will work out
  55. something. Please do not send me a check for non-US funds because the
  56. conversion fee will probably be more than the amount for check.

  59. your name, address, and e-mail address to:

  69. number. If you paid by personal check, it may be 7 to 10 days before you

  75. Listed below are the steps to convert the shareware version into a registered
  76. version.

  78. 1. Run ClipHistory. When the About box is displayed, click on the Registration
  79.    Code button.
  80. 2. Enter the Name and Code in the registration dialog EXACTLY as shown in the
  81.    information that you received.
  82. 3. Click the OK button to complete the registration process.

  86. You may freely distribute the shareware version of the product to anyone as
  87. long as no alterations are made its the files.
